Job Summary

Our GuidanceResources Unit telephonically assists thousands of callers each week, providing personalized guidance on issues regarding behavioral and emotional health, family, wellness, or other personal matters.

As a Guidance Specialist in the Health and Wellness unit, you will telephonically consult with clients on topics such as diet, exercise, and healthy lifestyle choices.

, Primary Responsibilities,

Conduct personalized consultations with each client
Identify and provide appropriate resources for clients' presenting issues
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of cases and metrics in our proprietary database
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio (including EAP, managed care, and work-life programs) and makes appropriate cross-referrals
Educate clients about services, eligibility and referral processes with a positive and professional approach
Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and responds to all inquiries in a timely manner
Demonstrate ComPsych's strong client focus and promise to over-deliver on customer expectations

, Additional Health & Wellness Responsibilities,

Structure the coaching sessions, assesses the clients readiness to change and establishes targeted goals to achieve a high level of participant satisfaction and results
Positively and professionally educate clients about the coaching process and the value of the wellness services available to them
Participate in the development of client education materials
Participate in the ideation and development of program enhancements and demonstrates the ability to effectively manage and complete assigned projects

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
1-2 years related experience required
Superior active listening and coaching skills and a demonstrated ability to be empathetic to client concerns
Certifications in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Certified Health Education Specialist, Smoking Cessation, Wellness Coach, or Nutritionist
Outstanding customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and develop relevant customer communications materials
Sound judgment and critical thinking skills in order to resolve client issues effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Excellent organizational skills, highly self-motivated, and dependable
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Flexible day and evening hours are required to meet client availability
Stable work history required
Bilingual a plus

Job Summary

Major stressors in our lives many times coincide with significant milestones: having children, caring for an aging parent, beginning college, getting married, moving and more. Our WorkLife customers receive unlimited assistance with child care, adoption, education, elder care, health care, pet care, and personal convenience needs.

The Resource Specialist is responsible for researching, compiling and delivering three to five pre-screened resources pertinent to the client's specific needs through telephonic and internet research within two business days. Requests range from childcare searches and elder care searches to personal convenience services and hardship/community service needs such as finding emergency shelter, food and utility assistance.

, Primary Responsibilities,

Apply analytical thinking skills to perform online research to find a minimum of three referrals for each request
Format research into comprehensive referral packets utilizing ComPsych Work-Life branding and quality standards within two business days
Meet Work Life standard of completing three requests per day while maintaining quality standards
Follow-up with clients on each work life package within three business days
Obtain a client satisfaction rate of 100%
If satisfaction rate is not met, complete a new work-life package within one business day
Support the implementation and innovation of on-going process improvement objectives, new products and special projects as assigned
Use excellent interpersonal and phone skills in order to efficiently obtain resources and referrals that meet the client's needs
Work on a team to share research findings and referrals for work life packages
Document all work life packages into ComPsych databases

Job Qualifications

BA/BS degree highly preferred
Demonstrated internet research skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Customer Service experience
Stable work history
Bi-lingual is a plus!

Job Summary

Customer Service Representatives respond telephonically and electronically to inquiries from healthcare providers and clients regarding benefits and claims.

, Primary Responsibilities,

Gain full understanding of Employee Assistance Programs and Managed Care products and transfer knowledge into satisfying our caller's needs and concerns
Allow the caller to express their needs, concerns, and questions without interruption
Listen effectively in order to identify and respond to the needs of the caller while remaining empathetic and assuring in matters of behavioral health
Read, comprehend and explain behavioral health benefits in a clear, concise and professional manner
Respond to call by providing correct benefit and status information while remaining professional and empathetic at all times. Information may include transferring or referring the caller to the appropriate department within ComPsych or conferencing the call with an outside party
Maintain the following consistently: an average call time of less than 4 minutes, after call work under 3 minutes, abandonment rate below 3%, resolve the customers issues, by remaining professional on the phone and end the call with the ComPsych close
Document the call efficiently with detail into software database
Identify and research claim errors and appropriately send written adjustments to the Claims Department
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Guidance Resources Unit, Care Management and Network Services team members within ComPsych
Partner with other customer service and claim team members to respond quickly to customer needs consistently and positively in order to foster a team environment

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma required
Customer service inbound call center experience required
Experience working in insurance, benefits, healthcare or human resources-related services preferred
Stable work history required
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite required
