StaffWeb.co.za provides a candidate database facility for job-seekers to register their interest in specific career directions, and to apply for specific positions.

Why do I keep getting logged out of the recruitment site?

After logging in, if you are experiencing problems navigating around the site, or being returned to the Login page continuously, there may be several possible reasons for this.

Cause 1 - Using Email Links

Did you access the website via the link on an email sent to you? If so, please try cutting and pasting the URL address or typing it into a new internet browser (do not use the link).

Some email suppliers do have security around visiting other sites within the same browser which will log the user out when moving around the new site. If this proves to be the case we suggest that you add this website address to your favorites list for quick reference in the future.

Cause 2 - Caching Information

Some computers cache information which means they are visiting old pages from the last time you accessed this website.

Please try closing all of your browser windows and cutting and pasting the URL of the login page into the address bar of the screen.

Cause 3 - Internet Security Settings

Check your internet security settings as per the following:

Internet Explorer Browser

  1. Open your internet browser
  2. On the top tool bar select Tools/Internet Options
  3. The Internet Options Form will open
  4. Click on the Setting button on the General Tab
  5. If necessary set to 'Every Visit to the Page'

Netscape Browser

  1. Open your internet browser
  2. On the top tool bar select Edit/Preferences
  3. The Preferences Form will open
  4. Click on the appropriate area in the tree menu and check your settings

Cause 4 - Cookies

Please ensure that you have Session Cookies enabled on your browser.

Recent versions of Internet Explorer provide for allowed sites. If you enter jobs.bfound.net as an allowed site for cookies you should solve the problem.

Cause 5- Content Advisor

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer Content Advisor to control access to sites, it may be causing conflicts with the security management of the site. Please disable Content Advisor for this session.

Cause 6 - McAfee Security Suite

Some users of the McAfee Security Suite have experienced problems. Please consider disabling the security software temporarily, or consider using an alternative PC.

 

This site utilises session cookies. If your computer security settings are very high please change the settings to allow session cookies. If you do not do this you will not be able to complete the application process.
